7am - We will meet for breakfast at Cracker Barrel (off I-35N frontage road between Rittiman and Eisenhauer).
8am - If you do not want to do breakfast, then please meet at the park/carpool.

Aquarena Center's Glass-bottom Kayak Tour Program is an intimate way to learn about the interconnections of water to all living things and an fun opportunity to visit and explore Spring lake. There is the option of a 1-hour or 3-hour guided tour. The 3-hour tour includes a 30 miniute walking orientation through our Archaeology Exhibit, Aquarium and Endangered Species exhibit. Participants will become familiar with the cultural history of the area around the headwaters of the San Marcos River along with the rules and regulations protecting Spring Lake's critical habitat to 8 listed endangered and threatened species.
Highlights of the tours include:
- Over 200 Artesian Springs;
- Native fish, turtles and aquatic plants;
- Migratory and Song Birds;
- An underwater Archaeological Dig Site;
- A Wetlands habitat
