This is an easy introduction to lap swimming...arguably, the best all around exercise.You would be surprised how many who seem to be in reasonably decent shape don't have the aerobic conditioning required to swim 10 laps in a row....lol. You'd also be surprised who sometimes shows up, like Olympian Josh Davis, who always is willing to share tips on underwater turns off the wall, strokes, etc.
Our goal will be two 5 lap swims to warm up, and then a 10 lapper. We will go slow.
It's fun refreshing, and contemplative being under water....bring goggles, fins, towel, and stuff for a shower. Optional lunch at nearby Souper Salad afterwards. |
